　　女孩Veronica(理查森)发现自己怀孕了，她只能和有车的“前”好友Bailey(Ferreira)一起上路，寻求合法堕胎：Veronica的男友很窝囊，她自己也不想这么年轻就当妈妈，不然会影响她的常春藤大学梦。而她所在的美国密苏里州规定未成年人必须有父母同意才能堕胎，她的父母并不同意。Veronica决定旅行900英里，去新墨西哥州堕胎后回家。　　Veronica是个沉迷于ins、成绩优秀、雄心勃勃的好学生，而Bailey是个孤独、毒舌的酷儿，对Veronica的新朋友们忍耐度为零。这样两个人怀着这样的目标一起上路，途中行差踏错，既有动情之处，又有幽默。

The couple has endured a lot, and Bob has sought to put his wife first, to the point of ignoring his own feelings and need for friendship, meaning, and connection. That is, until he gets an unexpected Facebook message from a stranger.
